THIS is the shocking moment a driver ploughs into a crowded pedestrian crossing after failing to stop at a red light because she was allegedly using her mobile phone. The 46-year-old woman, who has not been named, was driving on Russky Island near Vladivostok in eastern Russia when the incident happened earlier today. There were no fatalities but two victims were kept in hospital for treatment. According to The Siberian Times, the victims suffered spine injuries, fractures and concussion.
