AmazonI try out a lot of different gadgets, so the highest compliment I can give a piece of technology is that once the review is over, I keep going back to it. That’s true of a few different products, but especially Anker’s small, portable Bluetooth speaker, the SoundCore Sport XL. It may be tiny, but the sound it makes is big. When I say tiny, I mean it. This speaker can fit, completely, in the pocket for my jeans. It’s not the main reason I carry this speaker around, but it’s definitely up there. As you can tell by the photo, Anker waned to make this speaker durable. It’s both dustproof and waterproof, so if you drop it on the ground, in the sand, or into the pool, you’ll be okay. In my testing, this speaker took a while to bounce back after being fully submerged in water, but once it did, it sounded great. Thankfully, there aren’t any huge bodies of water in my kitchen. Though it doesn’t face the elements often, the fact that this speaker was made to take a beating makes it feel really solid when I hold it.
