She’s often seen in rather glamorous ensembles while presenting on Countdown.

But Rachel Riley ditched the glamour as she slipped into her cycling gear for a trip to the gym in Notting Hill on Friday.

The television presenter, 31, showed off her toned physique in a pair of navy shorts, which she teamed with a skin-tight black top.

The blonde beauty added a pop of colour to the outfit with a pair of patterned bright pink trainers.

Tying her tresses off her face in a loose bun, she accentuated her eyes with a liberal coating of mascara, before adding a rose-tinted lipstick.

She was later seen with her tousled locks down over her shoulders, adding a pair of large shades to shield her eyes from the spring sunshine.

Her outing comes after Rachel struggled to contain her giggles on Countdown last week, when lexicon-expert Susie Dent and guest Dr Phil Hammond came up with a rather naughty word on the Channel 4 programme.

Finding two eight letter words from the selection on offer, Dr Phil said to Susie: ‘I’ll let you choose which one you’d like to say first.’

Susie picked the safer option which was ‘abortive’. Dr Phil then went on: ‘I spotted a vibrator in there as well.’

This sent a ripple of chuckles through the studio, as Rachel arranged the letters on her board to spell out the word.

Rachel was left giggling cheekily to herself, unable to keep a straight face and trying to hide her smirks with her long blonde hair.

Earlier this month, she was also seen chuckling at a word found by her real-life boyfriend, Strictly Come Dancing star Pasha Kovalev.

Rachel was left red-faced at the word ‘Phallus’, much to the cast’s amusement.

Aside from awkward moments on TV, the couple appear to be as loved-up as ever, with Rachel revealing in an interview with the Daily Mail that she was learning Russian to help her communicate with Pasha’s family better.

The presenter was married to her university sweetheart Jamie Gilbert when she was partnered alongside Pasha on the BBC dance programme three years ago.

Speaking of her decision to end her union with Jamie, she said: ‘I don’t feel I’ve failed, no. It’s not nice splitting up with somebody. It never is.’
