Motorsports noise foe criticizes complaint list Now I know why the New Jersey Motorsports Park was anxious to cut off its sound committee meetings over a year ago with the bogus claim of disparagement on my part. That puts them in control of their hen house and can formulate propaganda without accountability. A newly created section on their website called “Community Feedback” lists, among other things of interest, “Sound Complaints — 2016” (notice it deliberately does not say “noise”). It is interesting to know that of the copious number of complaints it received in 2016, only six are listed, four due to noise. Of those four, one was dismissed as having no foundation and in the other three, the park was cited as not the culprit. It even listed the NASCAR race but only the fact that it received no complaints. This is not true as complaints were filed. This is rather selective filtering on their part. It also states at the bottom of the annotated complaint list: “At the end of each month, NJMP will populate this page with the most up-to-date feedback from the community.” Really? Or only the ones that present them in the best light? Well, we’ll see.
